The governing board of Bridges of Hope has appointed Betty Ann Fernandez as the new Executive Director for their Cathedral City California Community Resource Center as of January of 2007. 

Betty joins Bridges of Hope with a sense of urgency and excitement that can only be described as contagious.  Fueling that urgency and excitement is her commitment to help catapult Bridges of Hope to uncharted heights as it reaches out to the underprivileged of our communities with dignity, charity and compassion.

Her diverse background as an ordained minister with over 30 years of Christian ministry, child parapsychologist, home school instructor and Medical Billing Specialist uniquely qualify Betty for the dynamic challenges inherent with an enterprise of this nature.  In fact, her skills and abilities as an educator have been previously recognized by the California State Senate for implementing a literacy class tailored for students diagnosed with Dyslexia. 

With Betty’s leadership skills and abilities to unite people together for a common goal, along with the endorsement of the governing board, Bridges of Hope is strategically positioned to soar to new heights in its efforts to impact the lives of people.
