In addition, we have our toy drive and giveaway for underprivileged children during this special time of the year. During the holiday season, we served over 500 ho meals for Thanksgiving in Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs. Each year the numbers continue to grow. Bridges of Hope distributed 86 food baskets to families at Thanksgiving and 98 food baskets at Christmas time. Our toy distribution provided 1,600 toys to needy children in 2006. This year, our efforts will multiple as we extend this distribution to Desert Hot Springs.
