BRIDGES OF HOPE ACADEMY Experience The Difference... BOHA "A Cutting Edge Approach To Education" ![]()
Bridges of Hope Academy (BOHA) In
a joint venture, BOHA has partnered with the
BOHA currently serves kindergarten through 10th
grade students. The goal of
our program is to empower students for success through academic
achievement, creative interaction and positive reinforcement.
Extending beyond the constraints of the traditional classroom
setting is our complete educational plan with special emphasis on small
groups that will offer greater opportunity for “one on one” instruction
thereby creating an atmosphere for students to rediscover the enthusiasm
of learning. As part
of our “redefining education” philosophy, we have also Integrated
leadership classes that will focus on developing the leaders of tomorrow
who will stand for justice, truth, freedom and compassion.
In
light of this undertaking, BOHA has risen to the challenge to meet the
ever growing needs of our community with the development of the “Young
Achievers” program.
Young Achievers
– This after-school outreach provides counseling to the “at risk youth”
of our communities as well as tutoring assistance for the academically
challenged. This outreach has been one of the passions of Bridges of
Hope because of the potential lifelong impact it can have on the lives
of our youth. This
established program provides students a safe, positive and strong
support system for the purpose of helping them overcome educational
challenges while providing mentorship in the areas of interpersonal
relationships, drug prevention, character building and other teen
issues. Licensed
counseling is available to students and parents. In 2006, we have had
the opportunity to serve between 45 and 50 students on a weekly
basis during the previous school year. We also had 6 students fulfilling
community service hours during the summer break. Young Achievers was
launched in February 2006 and has gained
local government, and community leadership support. Call our offices for more information BOHA enrollment (760) 328-0887. |
